9 good videos March 2016

We’ve collected some of the best new videos out at the end of March 2016, enjoy!

We had so much fun hunting down these gems, it will be a returning series of posts.

Here are the first collections: Feb 2016 Part1, Feb 2016 Part 2

Loretta Lynn – Lay Me Down (Duet with Willie Nelson):

Hege Brynildsen – If You Have To Cry from her album, When My Man Comes To Town, released jan 29 2016. She sounds a bit like Dolly Parton, wonderful song:

Brace For Impact (Live A Little)” off Sturgill Simpson’s new album – A Sailor’s Guide To Earth // Available April 15th:

A new video from William Wild for the track Dreamin’has surfaced. The song features lovely lap steel and slide guitar work with a booming pre-chorus and chorus that kicks in nicely. From the new EP entitled Steady Now:

Aaron Lee Tasjan – 12 Bar Blues (Mercado South, SXSW, 3/19/16):

Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings w/ T Bone Burnett – Everything Is Free (at Music City Roots Live From The Factory on 3.15.2016):

Andrew Combs visited BBC Radio Scotland during the Country 2 Country Festival in Glasgow mid March and performed a brand new song for Another Country with Ricky Ross, Silk Flowers:

Eric Church – To Beat The Devil Live @ Life & Songs of Kris Kristofferson, he’s a good storyteller!

Yuma Sun – Violets To Stone (From the album, Watch Us Burn, Out April 1st.) A little departure from their dark country inspirations, but still good. Let us hope for more Southern Gothic on the album:

– Hallgeir
