[vc_row][vc_column][vc_message message_box_color=”mulled_wine” icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-quote-left”]Volume two picks up with the BBC sessions in 1965 which include the excellent songs “The Spider And The Fly” and “Cry To Me.” Alternate and backing tracks for their early hits such as “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and “19th Nervous Breakdown” follow in excellent sound quality. Their flirtation with psychedelia is represented by tracks from Their Satanic Majesties Request “Citadel” and “2000 Light Years From Home.” The disc ends with backing tracks to the single “Jumping Jack Flash” and the b-side “Children Of The Moon.”

Listen: The Rolling Stones – Unsurpassed Masters – Volume 1 (1963-1964) (30 outtakes)

His only complaint about them is the high price (something which still applies). The music starts with several tracks, “Baby What’s Wrong,” “Diddley Daddy” and “Bright Lights, Big City” from the first Rolling Stones recording session to include the Jagger/Richards/Jones/Wyman/Watts and Stewart line up.

Classic Bootleg: Van Morrison Live in Montreux 1990 (Audio)

Essential, awesome, flawless. Quite possibly the best boot there is.

This is rated by Van Traders as one of the top Van bootlegs of all time. On some lists as high as number two. If you don’t have this it is essential Van the Man. The sound quality is very good soundboard/FM. There is an amazing version of “Sweet Thing” that seams nicely into “Astral Weeks” before returning back to “Sweet Thing” that makes this a special one. And “Northern Muse” changes to “Auld Lang Sine”, “No Prima Donna” and finishes with “When Heart is Open”. This is really some good stuff. The “Summertime in England” is awesome. At 13 minutes and Van adds “A Town Called Paradise”, “Take Me Back” and “Boogie Woogie Country Girl” into it. This truly is an amazing bootleg!

Classic concert: Led Zeppelin live Denmark 1969 (full TV performance) plus bonus clip

Here’s a short but sweet film of what Led Zeppelin looked and sounded like in the first year of the band’s history. This was mid March, 1969. Their debut album, Led Zeppelin, had been out in USA for three months.

Led Zeppelin was on a tour of the UK and Scandinavia when they visited TV-Byen studios in Gladsaxe, Denmark, to play four songs from the new album:

This is a great show a couple of weeks after the release of Heartbreaker, Adams plays most of the album and some other favorites. He doesn’t talk much but delivers a good concert.

“Ryan doesn’t mind if live recordings make it up on sites as long as no money is changing hands, you know he allows anyone to plug into the board and record. Keep it fun and free and I think we are all ok with it.” as quoted from the co-webmaster of a Ryan Adam’s fan site. Quote was from Ryan Adams’ management.
